Stress Less begins your Journey with a personalised consultation that occurs at a time and place convenient for you.

During this consultation we will ensure you are made aware of what options are available to you. The process puts you and your family back in control and enables you to recognise what to look for in good quality care. We will help you to explore alternative care options, as a family, in the comfort of your own home.

Our initial consultation will cover the following:

• Discussion of care required;
• Explanation of relevant paperwork and forms likely to be required,
• Explanation of the Aged Care Assessment Team process (ACAT),
• Basic discussion around associated costs for Residential Aged Care and Homecare
• Centrelink Assets and Income Assessment Process,
• Power of Attorney / Legal Guardianship information,
• An estimate of our fees for the level of service you request us to provide

(This initial consultation is a one-off cost of $220, to be paid at the time of the consultation)

After the initial consultation you can choose which of our additional services you wish to use our expertise for and what you are able to undertake yourselves. We will provide a quote for each service you request us to assist you with.

• Arranging tours of your preferred facilities allowing you to short list.
• Referral to financial planners specialising in Aged Care for the more complicated financial situations
• Assistance in Accessing Respite

If you choose to use our services, we will work with the information you give us to search for the right facilities and care providers to match your needs. We will arrange tours and assist you in the application process. We will be beside you every step of the way to ensure that you are happy with the decisions you and your family make for your loved one.
